Editorial and content policy
This page explains who creates MathsGradeUp content, how it is checked against exam board specifications, how answers are marked, and how mistakes are corrected.
Who writes our content
Questions, worked solutions and revision notes are produced under the direction of Dr. Pankaj Jha, Founder and Lead Mathematics Educator, who has more than 25 years of experience teaching Mathematics to international-curriculum students. Subject content for Physics, Chemistry and Biology is prepared by subject teachers working to the same standards.
How content is checked
Every topic and subtopic is mapped to the published specification of the relevant exam board before questions are written. Worked solutions are checked against official mark scheme conventions so that method, accuracy and final-answer marks are awarded the way an examiner would award them.
How answers are marked
Marking on MathsGradeUp is generated by Study Coach, our learning companion, using mark-scheme-style rubrics. It is designed to teach the method and show where marks are won or lost. It is guidance and estimated feedback — final marks awarded by an official examiner may differ.
Use of automated assistance
We use automated tools to help draft explanations, hints and revision notes. Nothing is published as final teaching material without review against the specification and mark scheme by a subject educator. Where content is newly generated and awaiting review, it is not surfaced as verified teaching material.
Independence and exam boards
MathsGradeUp is an independent platform. We reference exam board specifications and past papers for revision purposes only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Pearson Edexcel, AQA, OCR, Cambridge, the IB Organization, College Board, or any other awarding body. Board and qualification names are used descriptively to identify the syllabus a resource supports.
Corrections and updates
Content is reviewed when exam specifications change and whenever an error is reported. If you spot a mistake in a question, solution or note, tell us and we will check it against the specification and correct or withdraw it.
Student privacy
Student accounts, dashboards, submitted work and performance data are private. They are never published, never included in our public pages, and are excluded from search-engine and AI crawlers.
