IGCSE Maths practice for international school students in Dubai
Most Dubai British curriculum schools sit Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Maths A (4MA1) rather than domestic GCSE. MathsGradeUp is built for that exact syllabus — every question is tagged to the 4MA1 topics so practice is targeted, not generic.

- Higher & Foundation
- Real past papers
Why IGCSE Maths is different from domestic GCSE
IGCSE Maths A has slightly different content weight — more emphasis on algebra, functions, calculus-style rate problems and set notation. Preparing with domestic GCSE-only resources leaves gaps. MathsGradeUp is mapped to the 4MA1 specification directly.
Two papers, calculator-allowed
Paper 1 and Paper 2 are both calculator papers — practice reflects this from day one.
Higher & Foundation
9–1 grading with tier-specific practice, worked solutions and mocks.
Functions & sets
IGCSE-specific topics like function notation, set notation and Venn diagrams are covered properly.
Mock booklets
Generate printable mock booklets with mark schemes for at-home sitting.

Frequently asked questions
Which IGCSE Maths spec do you cover?+
Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Maths A (4MA1), both Higher and Foundation tiers. This is by far the most common IGCSE Maths route across Dubai.
How is IGCSE Maths A assessed?+
Two written papers, each 2 hours and 100 marks. Both are calculator-allowed. MathsGradeUp mirrors this structure in mocks and past paper practice.
Is IGCSE harder than GCSE?+
The grading is the same 9–1 scale and the difficulty is similar overall, but IGCSE has slightly more algebra and different question styles. Practising on the actual 4MA1 spec is what matters.
How much does MathsGradeUp cost?+
MathsGradeUp is free during our early launch period — no card required. Subscriptions may be introduced later, but students who sign up now get full access while we build.
