Acceptable-Use Policy
Effective 21 August 2026 · SelexIQ Education FZE LLC (trading as MathsGradeUp)
This policy sets out what you may and may not do on MathsGradeUp. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions, and breaching it can lead to suspension or permanent closure of an account.
Permitted use
Use the Platform for your own study, for teaching your own students, or for supervising a child whose account is linked to yours. You may print and export worksheets, booklets and notes for that purpose, keeping our branding and attribution intact.
Prohibited conduct
- Sharing an account, login credentials or a licensed seat with anyone else.
- Copying, scraping, bulk-downloading, mirroring, reselling, redistributing or publishing Platform content, including questions, solutions, notes, cheat sheets and formula pages.
- Using the Platform or its content to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine-learning model.
- Using bots, crawlers, scripts or automated tools against the Platform other than well-behaved search-engine crawlers obeying our robots directives.
- Attempting to bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits or paywalls, or to reach data belonging to another user.
- Probing, scanning or stress-testing the Platform, or introducing malware or any harmful code.
- Uploading unlawful, infringing, obscene, hateful, harassing or misleading content, or anyone else's personal data without their consent.
- Impersonating another person, a school, a tutor, an exam board or our staff.
- Using the Platform to advertise, solicit or recruit, or to arrange off-platform contact with a child.
- Any behaviour prohibited by our Safeguarding and Online Safety Policy.
Academic integrity
The Platform is built to teach method, not to supply answers to submitted coursework. Do not use it to complete work that must be your own unaided effort, or in any way that breaches your school's or awarding body's assessment rules. Responsibility for complying with those rules rests with the student and their school.
Content you submit
You are responsible for what you upload — answers, working, files, messages and images. Do not upload material you do not have the right to share, including copyrighted past papers or textbook extracts you are not licensed to distribute. We may remove content that breaches this policy without notice.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, email support@mathsgradeup.com with the URL, a description of the work, evidence of your rights, and a statement that the use is unauthorised. We investigate promptly and remove infringing material where the complaint is substantiated.
Fair use of resources
Automated generation, exports and file uploads are subject to fair-use limits so the service stays fast for everyone. We may apply rate limits, queue heavy requests or restrict usage patterns that place a disproportionate load on the Platform.
Enforcement
To appeal a decision, email support@mathsgradeup.com within 30 days with the account address and the reasons. A person not involved in the original decision reviews the appeal.
- A warning and removal of the offending content for a first, minor breach.
- Temporary suspension for a repeated or serious breach.
- Permanent closure without refund for a severe breach, including bulk content extraction, security attacks and any safeguarding breach.
- Referral to law enforcement, and civil action to recover loss, where the breach is unlawful.
Changes to this document
We review this document periodically and update it when the Platform, the law or our practices change. The effective date at the top of the page always shows the current version. Material changes affecting your rights are notified by email or by an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that date means you accept the updated version.
